He that asks for mercy will receive mercy of the Lord. In January, I was in a hurry to get to the GWOS conference, and I didn’t realise I was speeding in the Dartford Tunnel. In the month of April I received a letter about the incident. I was so angry at myself and I began to ask God for mercy. My husband gave me lectures on the natural worst-case scenarios, consequences, charges, being sent on a highway code course, points on license and possible increase on our car insurance etc. I simply said Lord, yes I did what they said I did, but I am not a criminal… or speed race driver… So I am not interested in all these scenarios Lord. I want Your verdict on this matter. Recently, a friend shared on how her husband received a fine and points on his license, but I said Lord, that is not my portion; my case is different. Just this morning, I received a letter from them letting me know that normally this would have been a serious court summons matter, fine and penalties. However, on this occasion, they are willing to wave it all! What an awesome God we serve!!
