A few months ago, we were asked at one of the prayer sessions to pray for those who are seeking for a job and I indicated. Although I am in a job, I desired to change disciplines within my career . I applied for a role just before the lock down. Due to the pandemic, the job advert was put on hold until recently it was read vertised. Although I had an open mind and I continue to seek alternative jobs. Deep down in my heart , my preference is this job I applied for 6 months ago. By Gods Grace I was shortlisted for an interview and also shortlisted for a few other roles. I remembered when I had the holyspirit whispered to me, ‘if you have to pick out of the three jobs’ , which one is your preference and why ? , I said to God the one I preferred and why. But at the same time , I said to him, Lord let your will be done . I meditated on this scripture Esther 2:17. As Esther had found favour before the king, I will find favour before the interviewers . I asked God to speak through me and I will utter the right answers . The interview went well and I felt at peace. Few hours after the interview. I got the phone call that I have been offered the position . I was told I did exceptionally well and it was such a competitive role as they had some any candidates. I was so relieved and so excited ! Out of the 3 interviews I was successful for the job I actually wanted! I believe God came through for me and all I could do is to thank my Father for his word had come to pass.
