About a month ago, I developed soreness and redness in my right eye. At the time I didn’t think much of it as I thought it would disappear, but I was wrong. Within a couple of days my right eye and the entire right side of my face had swollen. I was experiencing excruciating pain and I couldn’t understand why. It was not an infection as I thought but something much more. I was referred to the eye specialist hospital. The doctor confirmed it was a cyst on the upper eyelid which had caused excessive swelling all over. In view of Covid19 hospitals are avoiding surgeries, hence the doctor was not keen to undertake surgery to drain the swelling and I was offered some medication, though he had mentioned if the swelling remains, it might have to be the surgery. The thought of coming back for a surgery was not something I was looking forward to. I trusted God the medication would work. I felt so unwell with the pain and frustrated as it affected my vision. To God be the glory, after about 3 weeks the swelling has reduced significantly, my vision was quite clear and I was able to resume back to my usual day to day activities. Luke 8:46 was the scripture I meditated on for total healing. I want to say Thank you for all your prayers and for God’s faithfulness.
